ATKINSON SUCCUMBS AT 72 WINDSOR - Odell Eley Atkinson, 72, farmer and life-long resident of Isle of Wight County, died Thursday at his home near here following a long illness. He was a son of the late Wiley and Mrs. Annie Eley Atkinson. He was a member of Ationch Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Emmanuel W. Crocker of Hampton, a son, William J. Atkinson of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. Annie Landing of Dare; a brother, Presley O. Atkinson of Portsmouth, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Christian Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
