CHARLES MEADE ANDREWS 

  Mr. Charles Meade Andrews, son of Mrs. Pattie Andrews of this city, was 
fatally hurt a week ago in a collision between a bicycle and truck in 
Portsmouth, and died on Sunday morning.  The family, who are some of the 
oldest residents of the county, have the sincere sympathy of the people 
in this vicinity.  The funeral was conducted Tuesday by Rev. Dr. Brown, 
rector of St. John's church, Portsmouth, of which church the deceased was 
a member.  He is survived by his mother, two sisters and four children.
