ARRINGTON FRANKLIN- A funeral service for Charles James Arrington, 71, was held Monday at 3:00 p.m. in Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the Rev. Edwin C. Thorton, Jr. Burial was in the church cemetery with Masonic rites at the grave. A native of Isle of Wight County, he died Saturday in his home. He was the husband of Mrs. Leona Tomlin Arrington. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church where he was a deacon and past chairman of the Finance Committee and secretay-treasurer of the Adult Men's Bible Class. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge 151, a Navy Veteran of World War II, and a retired lumber inspector with Union Camp Corp. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Inell Rutledge of Carrsville, Mrs. Carolyn Clifford and Mrs. Tena Goodson of Franklin; two sons, Charles J. Arrington, Jr. of Courtland and H. Eugene Arrington of Kensington MD.; a brother J. Clinton Arrington of Windsor; and 11 grandchildren.
