MARY JENKINS BABB WINDSOR - Mrs. Mary (Mamie) Jenkins Babb, 84, died early Saturday morning in Chowan Manor Nursing Home in Ahoskie, N.C., after a long illness. She was an Isle of Wight County native and the widow of John Hobby Babb. She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Stewart and Mrs. Annie Copeland of Windsor and Mrs. Mary Blythe of Franklin; one half brother, Floyd F. Jenkins of Richmond; one half sister, Miss Myrtle Jenkins of Richmond; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph McTeer officiating. Burial will be at Colosse Baptist Church cemetary.
