BISSETT ZUNI - Edward R. Bissett, 60, of Zuni, died Saturday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. A native of Texas, he was a retired welder from several shipyards in Norfolk. He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Zuni. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, and was formerly a member of Zuni Ruritan Club. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Lewis Bissett; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn B. Cobb, Suffolk; a son E. Ryan Bissett Jr., Suffolk; three brothers, Wesley T. Bissett, Dan Bissett, Landon Bissett, all of Port Lavaca, Texas; and three grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Purviance Funeral Home, Windsor, by Rev. Stephen N. Weed. Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bethany Presbyterian Church or Zuni Training Center. ****************************************************************************** Mr. Edward Bissett ZUNI - Edward R. Bissett, Dan Bissett and Landon Bissett of Port Lavaca, Texas; and three grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church or Zuni Presbyterian Training Center.
