Bassett; two sons, Lowell and Nelson Bassett, two daughters, Mrs. Rob Rollins and Mrs. John Welchel; five brothers, T.S. Bassett, Smithfield, Va.; F.L. Bassett, Newport News, Va.; J.T. Bassett, Newport News, Va.; J.H. Bassett, Norfolk, Va.; L.E. Bassett, Franklin, Va. Funeral services will be at the grave at St. Luke's Church, Thursday (today) July 28, with the Rev. W.H. Fletcher officiating. Pallbearers will be: Hugh Minga, Percy Martin, Walter Martin, Ira Scott, Linwood Latimer, Willie Reid. Honorary pallbearers will be: Paul Pierce, Frank Kirchmire, Q.B. Gilliam, Al Fulgham, Arthur Norsworthy, Philip Edwards, Ryland Edwards.
