BOYKIN JAMES FRANKLIN BOYKIN [BOYKINS*] J.F. Boykin, 59, well-known citizen of Isle of Wight, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at his home near Franklin. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Mary Boykins, a son J.F. Boykin, Jr. and a brother O.B. [sic; O.O.*] Boykin of Norfolk. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Colosse Baptist Church by the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb. Burial was in the church cemetery. His bro Ocie Ola BOYKIN's D.Cert. (65-027673) gives sn/o Frank & Ellen (CHANDLER) BOYKIN. Ocie is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
