MARY ELINOR BETTS

   CULPEPER - Mary Elinor Betts, 88, died Sept. 23, in a hospital.

   Miss Betts, a native of Isle of Wight county, was a member of Mill Swamp 
Baptist Church, Isle of Wight County.

   Survivors include three sisters, Myrtle Holt of Roanoke, Grace Gwaltney 
of Richmond, and Ruth Hill of Smithfield.

   Graveside services were held Friday in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

   Clore’s Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
