All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BUTLER Franklin, Feb. 15 - Benjamin Franklin Butler, 82, well-known farmer and resident of Isle of Wight County, died at his home near Walters after a lingering illness for the past few months. He was the son of the late Dempsey and Patsy Butler of Isle of Wight County and has made this county his home practically his entire life. Mr. Butler is survived by one brother, Dempsey Butler, of Windsor, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rev. H.H. Butler, of Suffolk. The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland & Son's Funeral Home where it will remain until Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at which time it will be taken to Mt. Carmel Christian Church for services at 3 p.m. The Rev. H.E.
