Mr. Butler, a native of Norfolk County, was a member and deacon of Battery Park Baptist Church, Battery Park. He also was a founder of the Carrollton Ruritan Club. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Spady Butler; two sons, Eugene F. Butler of Carrollton and Ronald Spady Butler of Ivor; a sister, Hattie B. Spady of Hampton; four brothers, William R. Butler of Courtland, Herbert Butler of Carrollton and Marion Butler and John L. Butler, both of Chesapeake; and a grandchild. The graveside service was conducted Sunday in Tucker Swamp Church Cemetery, Ivor, by the Revs. Wendell Sodegren and J. Waverly Horne. [Edward Lee BUTLER, retired farmer, Norfolk Co.
