John Gibbs, pastor of Antioch Church, the Rev. Ellis Clark, pastor of Cypress Chapel Christian Church, and the Rev. R.E. Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. Mrs. Butler, 88, oldest member of Antioch Christian Church, died Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the home in Windsor after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Solomon and Mary Jane Butler Carr and the widow of William Washington Butler. She was an active member of the Antioch Church's Missionary Society and Women's Bible Class. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. T.A. Wills and Mrs. W.L. Pierce Sr. of Windsor; a son, William W. Butler Jr. of Newport News; a sister, Mrs. George Pierce of Windsor; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. W. W. Butler Buried April 12 At Suffolk, Va. Mrs. Ella May Carr Butler, 83, oldest member of the Antioch Christian Church, died at her home at Windsor Monday, April 10, 1960, after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Solomon and Mary Jane Butler Carr and the widow of William Washington Butler. She was an active member of the Antioch Church Missionary Society and Women's Bible Class. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. T.A. Wills and Mrs. W.L. Pierce Sr. of Windsor; a son, William W. Butler Jr. of Newport News; a sister, Mrs. George Pierce of Windsor; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, Wednesday, April 12 at 2:30 P.M. by the Rev. John Biggs of Antioch Church, the Rev. Ellis Clark of Cypress Chapel Christian Church and the Rev. Dr. R.E.
