WILLIAM JEROME BUTLER

William Jerome Butler, 69, husband of Mrs. Margaret Duck Butler, died at the 
residence, 1505 West 40th Street, yesterday at 11:30 a.m.  Besides his wife, he 
survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Elmar Boyette, Mrs. Violet Nokoloff, Mrs. 
Sudie R. Franklin; Mrs. Margaret Hurst, Mrs. Christine Ross, Mrs. Mary Selzi and 
Mrs. Edna Vick, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. Lillian Young of Savannah, Ga; four 
sons, Linwood W. Butler, Randolph Butler, Robert Butler and Edward Wayne Butler, 
all of Norfolk, 18 grandchildren and a great-grandson.

   Mr. Butler was a native of Isle of Wight County, and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 32 years.

  The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Antioch 
Christian Church for funeral services Sunday at 2:30 p.m.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.  The body will lie in state an hour prior to the services.
