MIMA MITCHELL BLOXOM 

RITES FOR MRS. BLOXOM 

  Mrs. Mima Mitchell Bloxom, 73, of Rt. 3, Smithfield, died in Williamsburg 
Community Hospital, Wednesday, following a long illness.

  A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the wife of Ingrid Burma Bloxom 
and a daughter of the late Philip W. and Mrs. Clothida A. Barham Mitchell.

  She was a member of the Mill Swamp Baptist Church and the Ladies Bible 
Class having served as teacher of the class.

  Besides her husband she is survived by one son I.B. Bloxom Jr. of 
Williamsburg and one sister Mrs. J.D. Davis of Smithfield, also four 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

  A funeral services was held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home, 
Smithfield, by the Rev. James B. Ivey, pastor of Mill Swamp Baptist Church. 
Interment was in St. Luke's Memorial Park, near Smithfield.

  Pallbearers were Haley Newman, Dennis Bloxom, R.E. Bloxom, Charlie Phillips, 
T.P. Batten, Jr., H. Eugene Del, C.M. Little and Lee Thacker.
