Timothy Langston officiating. Burial was in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Jimmie Worrell, Roy Worrell, James T. Worrell, Paul Scott, Wilkerson Holland, Lewis Carr, Glen Wood and Claude Hedgepeth. Blythe, of Highway 612, Holland station, died Thursday in his home. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a retired farmer and member of Holland Baptist church. He was the son of the last Nancy Carr and Lafayette Blythe. Survivors include three brothers, Shirley Blythe of Suffolk, Gilmer Blythe of Holland Station, and William L. Blythe of Franklin and four sisters, Mrs. Otelia Felton and Mrs. Mary Burres of Suffolk, Mrs. Essie Holland of Holland station, and Mrs. Carrie Saunders of Chuckatuck.
