JOHN LEE BOND 

Smithfield, Va., Oct. 15 - A funeral service for John Lee Bond, 86, who died 
Friday at his home in Carrolton, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel 
of the Bullock Funeral home.  Interment will be in St. Luke's Memorial 
Cemetery at Benn's Church, Isle of Wight County.  He is survived by his wife, 
Mrs. Martha Smith Bond; four sons, Stanley, Alton and John J. Bond, all of 
Carrolton, and J.N. Bond, of Wake Forest, N.C. and five daughters, Mrs. L.R. 
Stephenson and Mrs. A.S. Underwood, of Smithfield; Mrs. E.H. Holladay, of 
Newport News; Mrs. A.L. Francis, of Burkeville, and Mrs. G.R. Smith of 
Arlington.

JOHN LEE BOND, 86, OF CARROLLTON BURIED SUNDAY 

  John Lee Bond, 86, died at his home at Carrollton Friday at 4 p.m.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Smith Bond; four sons, Stanley Bond, 
Alton Bond, John J. Bond, all of Carrollton and J.N. Bond, of Wake Forest, 
N.C.; five daughters, Mrs. L.R. Stephenson and Mrs. A.S. Underwood, both of 
Smithfield; Mrs. E.S. Holladay of Newport News; Mrs. A.L. Francis of 
Berkville, Mrs. G.R. Smith of Arlington and several grandchildren.

  Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Bullock Funeral Home 
in Smithfield.  Burial was in Benns Church Cemetery.
