MRS. VIVIAN B. [sic; P.] BENNETT 

  Mrs. Vivian B. Bennett, 55, wife of the late R.B. Bennett, died Monday 
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.H. Jones, of 
Suffolk, with whom she had long made her home, after a lingering illness. 

  Besides her daughter, Mrs. Jones she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
P.O. Scott, of Smithfield, and Mrs. R.R. Allen, of Great Bridge; a sister, 
Mrs. Annie E. Bradshaw, of Crewe, and a brother, G.G. Johnson, of Windsor. 
Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon, conducted by 
the Rev. Dr. I.W. Johnson, and burial was in Antioch Christian Cemetery, 
near Myrtle, Va.

She & Rufus m. 4 Dec 1901 in Isle of Wight Co. 

Her father, James Washington BENNETT, was a Confederate veteran, having served 
   as a private in Co. E, 1st VA Infantry, and was a Nansemond Co. pensioner.
