BROCK PASSES AWAY AT HOME TUESDAY Mr. A.W. Brock, a resident of Longview, died at his home Tuesday morning, aged 77. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Lynnette M. Brock; a son, Otis G. Brock, and six grandchildren, Irma, Lillian, John Massey, Clyde, Jr., Francis and Jack Brock. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. T.W. Page, assisted by the Rev. Dr. I.W. Johnson, at Whitehead's Grove Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Active pallbearers were J.W. Horne, S.L. Horne, S.T. Butler, C.H. Lawrence, L.T. Brock, W.B. Appenzeller, V.D. Herbert and Leslie Curtain; honorary, Charlie Johnson, L.L. Lowe, A.W. Horne, L.J. Crumpler, C.T. Minton, R.J. Parr, D.J. Murphy, J.H. Pitt, Dr. L.L. Eley, G.H. Pitt, T.J. Mathews, George M. Crumpler, Thomas L. Griffin, J.M. Oliver, J.B. Cherry, Harry Creekmore, J.T. Stallings and F.H. Christopher.
