All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ NOAH BROCK Noah Brock, 78, farmer of the Carrsville community, died Sunday afternoon at Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, after a lingering illness. He was the son of the late William and Mrs. Cherry Beale Brock of Isle of Wight County and a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, two daughter, 33 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland and Sons funeral home in Franklin and later to the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.C. Williams of Carrsville. Funeral services were held from Beaver Dam Church Wednesday afternoon at 3:30, conducted by Rev. N.C. Clifton of that church, burial being made in the Beaver Dam Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Elvin Whitley, Nat Bradshaw, Royal Turner, Percy Bradshaw, Hurley Clark, Livy Griffin and Willie Bradshaw. [Noah H.
