  Shirley Tyrone Bracey died on July 31, 2009 of heart failure.  Friends may 
join the family Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 
3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, Aug. 
2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Antioch Church Cemetery, Windsor, Va.  Memorial donations 
may be made to the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad at P.O. Box 483, Windsor, VA

Shirley Tyrone Bracey 

  Shirley Tyrone Bracey died on July 31, 2009 of heart failure.  He was born 
in Windsor on June 30, 1938, the 10th child of Clyde Alfred and Gladys Grant 
Bracey, who preceded him in death.  He was a member of Windsor Christian 
Church. 

  Also preceding him in death were an infant daughter; his brothers, Clyde 
Jr., Robert, and William; and his sisters, Frances Gray, Leona Jones, Evelyn 
Scott; and infant, Judith. 

  He is survived by his son, Travis Bracey of Windsor; daughter, Susan Bracey 
of Zuni; and grandsons.  Also surviving is his brother, Benjamin Bracey of 
Suffolk; and sisters, Betty Richardson of Virginia Beach, Janice Scott of 
Smithfield, Barbara Redd of Walters and Glenda Carr of Windsor. 

  A graveside service was held Sunday, Aug. 2 at Antioch Church Cemetery, 
Windsor.  Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad 
at P.O. Box 483, Windsor, Va. 23487.  Condolences may be registered online at
