BRASWELL, 72, BURIED JAN. 8TH NEAR WINDSOR Nathaniel T. Braswell, 72, died suddenly January 6th, at the family residence near Windsor. He is survived by two brothers, William and Joseph Braswell of Windsor; a foster son, Thomas Braswell of Windsor, and two foster daughters, Mrs. Mae Rhodes, of Windsor and Mrs. Elizabeth Hobbs of Petersburg. Funeral services were held at Antioch Christian Church near Windsor, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ellis Clarke officiating. Burial was in Antioch Church Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** NATHANIEL T. BRASWELL Funeral services for Nathaniel T. Braswell, 72, of Windsor were held at 2:30 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon, January 8, at the Antioch Christian Church, of which the deceased was a member. Mr. Braswell died on Sunday, January 6. He is survived by two brothers, Joseph Braswell and William Braswell of Windsor; a foster son, Charles Braswell of Windsor; and two foster daughters. Mrs. Elizabeth Hobbs of Petersburg and Mrs. Mae Rhodes of Windsor. The services were conducted by Rev. Ellis Clark and Rev. Paul Black. The choir sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye", and Mrs. Paul Black sang as a solo "He’ll Understand." Interment was in the church cemetery. The active pallbearers were Clyde Bracey, Lilton Bracey, Frank Brown, Lewis Chapman, Forrest Cobb, Charlie Duck, Paul Hedgepeth, Maynard Holland, Dick Rhodes, Fleetwood Turner, Henry Whitley and Fenton Worrell.
