Braswell WINDSOR - Mills Surrell Braswell, 67, died Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. He resided at 36 W. Windsor Blvd. He was the husband of Mrs. Katherine Branch Braswell and son of the late William H. and Nora Brinkley Braswell. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church, Suffolk Moose Lodge 141, Woodman of the World, Central Hill Hunt Club and was a retired painter. Besides his widow he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dottie B. McFatter of Franklin and Miss Mary Katherine Braswell of Windsor; four sons, Surrell G., Mills A., and Mills S. Braswell Jr. , all of Windsor and E. Wayne Braswell of Zuni; one sister, Mrs. Mary B. Turner of Suffolk; one brother, John H. Braswell of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Ernest Pettis. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. for visitation.
