BARRETT SMITHFIELD - Mrs. Dorothy Uzzell Barrett, 76, 1000 Magruder Road, Smithfield, died Friday in Riverside Hospital after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Smithfield. Survivors include her husband, Mills Thomas Barrett; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Barrett Wooley of Smithfield and Mrs. Ethel Barrett Long of Newport News; one son, Leonard Thomas Barrett of Smithfield; one sister, Miss Madoline Uzzell of Smithfield; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, Windsor, by the Rev. Macon B. Walton. Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, is in charge. The body will be at the residence until the time of service. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Isle of Wight Rescue Squad or Christ Episcopal Church memorial fund. ****************************************************************************** DOROTHY VIRGINIA UZZELL BARRETT MRS. She was a native of Isle of Wight County. The daughter of the late Leonard E. and Mary Pierce Uzzell and the husband [sic; wife] of Mills Thomas Barrett, she was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Survivors include, Mrs. Mary B. Wooley of Smithfield, Mrs. Ethel B. Long of Newport News, one son, Leonard Thomas Barrett of Smlthfield, one sister, Miss Madeline Uzzell, Smithfield, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service was held Sunday at 3 p.m. at graveside, Antioch Christian Church by Rev. Macon B. Walton. Services were directed by Colonial Funeral Home. Pallbearers were M.J. Long, Jr., Robert H.
