MAGGIE DELK BARRETT 

   Mrs. Maggie Delk Barrett, 78, well-known resident of Ivor, died at the 
home of her grandson, Shelly L. Doles, of Ivor, Monday morning, October 30, 
after an illness of two years.

   Mrs. Barrett was the wife of the late Junie Barrett of Isle of Wight 
County, and daughter of the late George B. and Mattie Kello Delk, also of 
Isle of Wight County.  She was a member of Ivor Baptist Church.

   Surviving are one grandson, Shelly Doles, two great-grandchildren, 
Shelly L. Doles, 3rd, and Judith D. Doles, and several cousins.

   The body was taken to the Holland Funeral Home here, where it remained 
until Wednesday afternoon.  It was then taken to Mill Swamp Cemetery for 
graveside services at 3:30 p.m.
