D.Cert. 9683 Rev. & Mrs. BARRETT were appointed as missionaries to Antioch, Turkey, in 1900, but when they arrived in New York it was decided they should go to Puerto Rico, according to a report on the organization of the Christian Church South, and its early ministers & missionaries, to the 36th regular session of the Southern Convention of Congregational Christian Churches, Reidsville, 2 May 1944, by historian Major W.E. MacClenny.
