She was the widow of William Thomas Bradshaw and a member of the Antioch Christian Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John Nurney, of Ivor; Mrs. Clarence Lankford, of Waverly, and Mrs. Emmett Wise, of Smithfield; a son, John T. Bradshaw, of Waverly; one sister, Mrs. T.P. Holland, of Smithfield; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the chapel of the Bullock Funeral Home with the Rev. Ellis Clark, pastor of the Antioch Christian Church, and the Rev. J.H. King, pastor of Whitehead Grove's Baptist Church officiating. Burial will take place in the Antioch Church Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Rites Held Yesterday For Mrs. Bradshaw Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Johnson Bradshaw were held in the chapel of the Bullock Funeral Home in Smithfield yesterday afternoon. The Rev. Ellis Clarke [sic; Clark], pastor of the Antioch Christian Church, and the Rev. J.H. King, pastor of Whitehead's Grove Baptist Church, officiated at the ceremony. Mrs. Bradshaw, who died on Thursday at the age of 63 at a Peninsula hospital, was buried in the Antioch Church cemetery. The acting pallbearers were Edward Turner, Clarence Duck, Ralph Holland, E.F. Little, John R. Ellis and O.W. Gray. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. W. T. Bradshaw Buried April 18th Antioch Cemetery Mrs. Beatrice Augusta Bradshaw, 63, died April 16, 1953, after a long illness. Widow of William Thomas Bradshaw, she was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, and a member of Antioch Christian Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Nurney, of Ivor; Mrs. Clarence Lankford, of Waverly, and Mrs. Emmett Wise, of Smithfield; one son, John T. Bradshaw, of Waverly, and one sister, Mrs. T.P. Holland, of Smithfield; and eight grandchildren. The body was taken to the Bullock Funeral Home, where services were conducted in the chapel at 2 P.M. Saturday by the Rev. Ellis Clark, pastor of the Antioch Christian Church, assisted by the Rev. J.H. King, pastor of Whitehead's Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the Antioch Church Cemetery. Jul 1890.
