Bradshaw Of Zuni, Buried June 6th At Zuni Mrs. Essie Lee Bradshaw, 72, well-known resident of the Ivor and Zuni communities, died suddenly June 4, 1953, soon after arrival at a Franklin hospital. The widow of John E. Bradshaw, of Zuni, she was the daughter of Mrs. Mollie Elizabeth Horne Johnson, of Isle of Wight County. Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of the Zuni Presbyterian Church. Besides her mother, Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by four sons, Jesse and George Bradshaw, of Ivor; Aubrey Bradshaw, of Zuni, and Vincent Bradshaw, of Suffolk; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Worrell, of Suffolk; Mrs. Vernie Worrell, of Windsor; Mrs. Frances Byrd, of Staunton, and Mrs. Edna Dailey, of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Hettie Spain, of Suffolk, and Mrs. Nellie Harrison, of Zuni; one brother, Clinton Bradshaw, of Zuni; 16 grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at Antioch Christian Church, near Zuni. by the Rev. T.T. Traynham, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Ellis Clark, of Windsor, and the Rev. E.P. Bland, of Ivor. The widow of John E. Bradshaw of Zuni, the deceased was the daughter of Mrs. Mollie Elizabeth Horne Johnson of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of the Zuni Presbyterian Church. Besides her mother Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by four sons, George and Jesse Bradshaw of Suffolk; Vincent and Aubrey Eddie Bradshaw; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Worrell of Suffolk, Mrs. Vernie Worrell of Windsor, Mrs. Frances Byrd of Staunton, and Mrs. Edna Bailey of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Hettie Spain of Suffolk and Mrs. Nellie Harrison of Zuni; one brother, Clinton Johnson of Zuni; and 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Final rites for Mrs. Bradshaw were conducted on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Antioch Christian Church by Rev. Ellis Clark of Windsor assisted by Rev. L.P. Bland of Ivor. Burial was in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Aubrey Bradshaw, Jr., Joseph Daughtrey, Jr., Charlie Duck, Roy Tomlin, Edward B.
