Bradshaw, died Tuesday night, March 23, at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. S. Paul Carr, on S. High Street. Mrs. Bradshaw was a daughter of Mrs. Geneva Holland Howell and the late William Fletcher Howell of the Franklin community. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother; three daughters, Mrs. Lucy Ann Mason, Miss Jacqueline Ophelia Bradshaw, and Miss Barbara Steward Bradshaw, all of this town; three step-daughters, Mrs. Rena Bradshaw Matthews of Burbank, Calif., Mrs. Frank R. Day, Jr., of Franklin, and Mrs. H.L. Chitty, Jr., of Franklin, and Mrs. H.L. Chitty, Jr., of Murfreesboro, N.C., a step-son, W.M. Bradshaw, Jr., of Franklin; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. R.C. Councill of Franklin and Mrs. C.R. Waters of Portsmouth; and two brothers, W. Herman Howell and Dewey Howell, both of Franklin. Funeral services for Mrs. Bradshaw were held yesterday afternoon at three o’clock from the home of Mrs. Carr, with Rev. R.D. Stephenson officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Beaver Dam Church, the following serving as pallbearers: C.C. Vaughan, 3rd, J. Fenton Matthews, George O. Watkins, Leland P. Simmons, William Howell, Elmer Bradshaw, Jr., Frank DeBord, and Charlie Keeter. Geneva Grizzelle "Zella" (HOWELL; Mrs. William M.)
