CARR BRADSHAW HER DEATH WAS SUDDEN Suffolk, Va., Sept. 13. - Mrs. Mollie Bradshaw, of 212 Main street, Suffolk, died suddenly this morning at the home of a son, L. Upshur Bradshaw, near Windsor, Va. The deceased was the widow of Luther Bradshaw. Three daughters and three sons survive her - Mrs. Joseph A. Turner, Mrs. W.J. Matthews, Miss Bradshaw, L. Upshur, J.T. and S.J. Bradshaw. The deceased was a sister of Thomas Carr, of Windsor, and the late S.J. Carr, of Suffolk. She was an aunt of Mrs. A.D. Bowen and Mrs. W.E. Brinkley, both of Suffolk. ****************************************************************************** Two Sudden Deaths. [Special to The Times-Dispatch.] Suffolk, Va.. September 13. - While taking a drink of water to-day, W.J. Walters. forty-eight years old, fell backward and expired without speaking. A widow, daughter and adopted daughter survive him. Mrs. Mollie Bradshaw, of Suffolk, died suddenly to-day, at the home of a son, L. Upshur Bradshaw, near Windsor. She is survived by three daughters and three sons. "Mollie" Mary E. D, 16th VA Infantry. He was appointed Postmaster of Windsor Station in 1889. Birthdate from the 1900 Census - Windsor Dist., Isle of Wight Co. Her will was recorded 21 Sep 1910. (Isle of Wight Co. WB34:184) She was the daughter of Solomon CARR & and his first wife Mary "Polly" (WHITEHEAD) CARR. Her father (1822 - 1876) also was a Confederate veteran, having served as a private in Co. F, 61st VA Infantry. He is buried in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, near Windsor.
