BRADSHAW Jr. A Nine Year-Old Boy With Hydrophobia. [...] BAD CASE OF HYDROPHOBIA. - Hydrophobia in a most severe form yesterday developed on the 9-year-old son of Mr. William [sic] Bradshaw, at Windsor, va., as a result of a wound received about nine months ago from a rabid dog. There had been no previous symptoms and the occurrence of the biting had almost been forgotten. The boy about 12 o'clock yesterday was having fits with great frequency and was becoming weaker after each spasm. He foamed at the mouth and raved madly. It was not thought that he could survive through the day. ****************************************************************************** Earl Bradshaw, eight year old son of Robert E. Bradshaw, of Windsor, died of hydrophobia yesterday from a dog bite received eighteen months ago. ****************************************************************************** BITTEN BY A MAD-DOG. Death from Hydrohobia Eighteen Months Afterwards. WINDSOR, VA., September 18. - (Special.) - Earl Bradshaw, aged 8 years, son of Robert E. Bradshaw, a prominent citizen and farmer near this place, who was bitten by a mad-dog about eighteen months ago, died of hydrophobia yesterday evening, after about twelve hours' suffering. Every effort possible was made by the attending, physician, Dr. Baird, to alleviate the suffering of the boy, but without avail. ****************************************************************************** A SAD DEATH FROM HYDROPHOBIA. Bradshaw, near Windsor, who was mentioned as having been attacked with a bad case of hydrophobia as a result of a dog bite, received several months ago, has since died in great agony. Bradshaw, of Windsor Station, Isle of Wight county, Va., who was bitten by a mad dog 18 months ago, died of hydrophobia on last Wednesday evening after twelve hours of great suffering which the physician could not alleviate.
