All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Rites Held For William Bradshaw SMITHFIELD, Dec. 19 - Funeral services for William Thomas Bradshaw, who died Tuesday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, were conducted today at 2 p.m. at the Bullock Funeral Home. The Rev. Ellis Clark, pastor of Antioch Christian Church, and the Rev. J.H. King, pastor of Whitehead Grove Baptist Church, officiated. Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Raymond Edwards, Edward D. Turner, Ralph Holland, Clarence Duck, David Lankford and William Mumford [sic; Munford]. A retired farmer and lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Antioch Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Johnson Bradshaw; three daughters, Mrs. John Nurney, of Ivor; Mrs. Clarence Lankford, of Waverly and Mrs. Emmett Wise, of Smithfield; a son, John T. Bradshaw, of Waverly; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Parker, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Mabel Gray, of Newport News.
