ALICE L. DASHIELL BARLOW 

MRS. J.H. BARLOW, 80 

  Mrs. J.H. Barlow, 80, widow of the late Joseph H. Barlow, died Tuesday, 
Dec. 15, at the residence of her son G.A. Barlow of Smithfield.

  Mrs. Barlow is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J.F. Holland, of Newport 
News, Mrs. G.A. Culton of Richmond, and Mrs. F.M. Smith, of Washington, D.C.; 
four sons, Mr. A.C. Barlow of Fort Worth, Texas, G.A. Barlow, Gordon E. Barlow 
and J. Ray Barlow, all of Smithfield; two sisters, Mrs. Wesley Cofer, of 
Smithfield and Mrs. S.K. Culley of Richmond; one brother T.L. Dashiell, of 
Smithfield; twenty-one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held at the G.A. Barlow home on Thursday afternoon 
at 3 o'clock.  Burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery.

  The Rev. L.F. Paulette officiated.
