Norman Barlow, 63, lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, died suddenly at his home Saturday morning from a heart attack. Mr. Barlow was a member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Gwaltney Barlow; six children, Mrs. J.T. Pond, Jr., of Burdette; Mrs. Evelyn V. Carroll, of Smithfield; Percy K. Barlow, of Mill Swamp; Garland Barlow, of Norfolk, and Mrs. John Ransome, Jr., and W.N. Barlow, of Newport News; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock Mill Swamp Cemetery by the Rev. L.E. Holzbach. Active pallbearers were R.M. Carroll, E.P. and J.S. Lyttle, W.M. Nurney, Vernon Lyttle and William Stallings. W.
