Cobb Died April 30th Windsor - Mrs. Addie Clifton Cobb, 75, wife of George T. Cobb, died April 30 at Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, after an illness of a few weeks. She was the daughter of the late James M. and Mrs. Mary Rowe McClenny of Southampton County. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Wilmer W. and Alton J. Cobb of Newport News and George T. Cobb Jr. of Windsor; one daughter, Mrs. Fannie Mae Bland of Norfolk; four grandchildren; two brothers, Robert L. McClenny of Franklin and John McClenny of Sedley; three sisters, Miss Jennie McClenny of Sedley, Mrs. Leon Lowe of Suffolk and Mrs. Ida Rawlings of Hopewell. The body was taken to the Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, and on Thursday was removed to Antioch Christian Church to lie in state from 1 PM until 2 PM, when services were conducted by the Rev. T. Fred Wright and the Rev. H.C. Crutchfield.
