COBB Franklin, Va., Jan. 22 - Benjamin Madison Cobb, 83, retired farmer of Isle of Wight County, died Sunday at his home near Zuni.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Pearl Barrett Cobb; six daughters, Mrs. E.T. Presson, Mrs. Douglas Griffin and Mrs. Charlie Joyner, of Windsor, Va.; Mrs. A. McKoll, of Norfolk; Mrs. Johnnie Clark, of Waverly, Va. and Mrs. Julian C. Jenkins, Jr., of Carrsville, Va.; five sons, Johnie Cobb, of Newport News; Forrest and Herman Cobb, of Windsor and Woodrow and Costen Cobb, of Zuni; two brothers, Alfred Cobb, of Zuni; and George Cobb, of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Hurley Joyner, of Sedley, Va.; Mrs. Anna Scott and Mrs. Effie Joyner, both of Franklin; 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. ****************************************************************************** Benjamin Cobb Dies Near Zuni FRANKLIN, Jan, 23. - Benjamin Madison Cobb, 83, well-known retired farmer, of Isle of Wight County, died yesterday at his home near Zuni after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Evans and Nancy Jane Buck Cobb, of Southampton County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Pearl Barrett Cobb, of Zuni; six daughters, Mrs. E.T. Presson, Mrs. Douglas Griffin, and Mrs. Charlie Joyner, of Windsor; Mrs. A. McKoll, of Norfolk; Mrs. Johnnie Clark, of Waverly, and Mrs. Julian C. Jenkins, Jr., of Carrsville; five sons, Johnnie Cobb, of Newport News; Forrest and Herman Cobb, Windsor; Woodrow and Coston Cobb, of Zuni; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Cobb, of Zuni, and George Cobb; three sisters, Mrs. Hurley Joyner, of Sedley; Mrs. Anna Scott and Mrs. Effie Joyner, both of Franklin, and a number of nieces and nephews.
