Mrs. Pearl B. Cobb 

  ZUNI - Mrs. Pearl Barrett Cobb, 84, the widow of Benjamin Madison Cobb, died 
Monday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. 

  She was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and a member of Antioch 
Christian Church. 

  Survivors include four sons, B. Forrest Cobb and R. Coston Cobb of Windsor, 
Herman W. Cobb and Woodrow W. Cobb of Sedley; five daughters, Mrs. Emerson T. 
Presson and Mrs. Douglas B. Griffin of Windsor, Mrs. J.T. Clark of Waverly, 
Mrs. Edith McKool of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Julian C. Jenkins of Walters; 
two sisters, Mrs. Indiana B. Cobb of Zuni and Mrs. Emma B. Tomlin of Ivor; a 
brother, Thomas Barrett of Smithfield; two half brothers, Emmett B. Barrett 
of Zuni and Edgar C. Barrett of Hampton; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-
grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral 
Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. Riddick Pearce and the Rev. Larry Cribb. 
Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery near Windsor.

   They are also buried there.
