CHAPMAN Mrs. Mary Virginia Chapman, wife of John E. Chapman, died at her home in Chuckatuck at 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. She was 52 years old. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. W.W. Dashiell, Miss Alene Chapman, both of Chuckatuck, and Mrs. S.A. Marshall of Rushmere; two sons, John E. Chapman, Jr. and D.W. Chapman, of Chuckatuck; two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Eley of Norfolk and Mrs. H.N. Jordan, of Windsor, and four brothers, Burton Wilson of Windsor, and Willie Wilson, Shadey Wilson and Jack Wilson, of Isle of Wight. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock with the Rev. E.E. Henley officiating. Burial was in Uzzell's Cemetery. Active pallbearers were, John Godwin, James Wilson, S.L. Gwaltney, Rosser Chapman, W.L. Saunders and C.H. Chapman. Mary Virginia (WILSON; Mrs. John E.)
