ROBERT JUNIUS COX

   The funeral services of Robert Junius Cox who died suddenly of apoplexy 
Thursday night, January 11, were conducted by Rev. W.M. Jay, assisted by Rev. 
T.E. White at Mt. Carmel Christian Church Saturday afternoon, January 13, at 
2 o'clock.  Interment was made in the Mt. Carmel cemetery.

   Mr. Cox's death was a great shock to his family as he had been in fairly 
good health until the morning he was stricken.  He was 73 years old.  He 
leaves a wife, who was Miss Mary Elizabeth Beale; two sons, J.R. Cox and W.T. 
Cox; two daughters, Mrs. Claude Holland and Mrs. Elmer Bradshaw; fourteen 
grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
