All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MAGGIE SARAH TURNER COGGIN Mrs. Maggie Sarah Turner Coggin, 85, widow of Jethro Thomas Coggin and a native of Isle of Wight County, died in Louise Obici Hospital, Suffolk, on Friday morning, March 18, after a week’s illness. The deceased was the daughter of the late Samuel and Priscilla Spivey Turner of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of the Colosse Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Miss Florida Turner, and a brother, John H. Turner, both of Carrsville; and a nephew, Anderson Turner of Richmond. Final rites were held in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons on Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock, with Rev. Curtis Hoffman, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church, and Rev. J. Sidney Cobb of Whaleyville, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
