EDWIN JESSE CLAUD 

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD E.J. CLAUD 

Rev. R.J.S. Coble Conducted Burial Services, Assisted by Rev. Clark of Windsor 

  Colosse, July 15 - The funeral services of Mr. E.J. Claude of Nansemond 
County, near Buckhorn, were conducted at Colosse Baptist Church on last 
Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the pastor of the church, R.J.S. 
Coble assisted by Rev. Clark of the Methodist church of Windsor, as he 
was a true member of the Methodist church.  The pallbearers were J.S. 
Winborne, L.L. Butler, M.H. Holland, C.A. Johnson, J.C. Griffin, M.S. 
Baggett, A.K. Pierce and W.E. Winborne. Honorary - J.E. Avis, W.M. Aston, 
A.D. Pierce, Charles Bozeman, Holland Ballard, J. Tom Carr, Charles Rhodes, 
Kenie Rhodes, W.L. Darden and M.E. Spivey.  The body was laid to rest in 
Colosse cemetery to await the resurrection morn.  The followers were many 
and beautiful.

His parents are buried in Person's Methodist Church Cemetery.
