Mr. Clements, who was well-known in Franklin, had lived in Greensboro, N.C., since 1913 and was assistant manager of the Greensboro plant of a national fertilizer concern. Mr. Clements was the brother- in-law of Mrs. W.H. Jones of A. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Lily Ballard, a son, F.M. Clements, Jr., a sister, Mrs. Ida Dick of Macon, Ga., and a brother, W.R. Clements of Nashville, Tenn. Services were held for the deceased in the Hanes Funeral Chapel at Greensboro Wednesday afternoon at 5 o’clock, the Rev. J.B. Craven of Greensboro and the Rev. J.H. Armbrust of Reidsville officiating. Interment was made in the Antioch Christian Church cemetery near Windsor, Va., Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock, Dr. Elwood W. Jones of Franklin Congregational Christian church officiating. Pallbearers were W.C. Hines, J.A. Goodwin, J.S. Vernon, B.T. Sustace, G.T. Elliott, Aubrey Gale and W.B. Hastings. There were a large number of beautiful floral tributes and number of friends from Greensboro, Suffolk, Norfolk and Richmond attended the rites here. ****************************************************************************** Walters News Miss Frances Ballard [...] Many from here attended the funeral services of Mr. F.M.
