MISS RUTH CLEMENTS 

  Miss Ruth Clements, formerly of Isle of Wight County, died at the home of 
her sister in Macon, Ga., Thursday of last week and the body was shipped to 
Franklin for services at Antioch Christian Church near Windsor, Va., Saturday 
morning at 11 o'clock.  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. W.H. Dick of 
Macon, Ga., two brothers, F.M. Clements of Greensboro, N.C., and W.R. Clements 
of Nashville, Tenn. 

  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. White of Windsor and interment 
was in the church cemetery.  Active pallbearers were: C.N. Turner, R.S. 
Thorne, C.T. Saunders, J.E. Rhodes, John M. Ballard, S.A. Hines, J. Fenton 
Rose and Roland Butler.

D.Cert. 32-4615 gives b. 31 Jul 1879, but that conflicts with her brother 
   Thomas Josiah CLEMENTS (17 Sep 1879 - 3 Jul 1894). 

Their parents, Thomas J. & Nancy Polk (GAY) CLEMENTS, are also buried there. 

Their father (1832 - 1896) was Sheriff of Isle of Wight Co. during the Civil 
   War.  He is also listed as a Confederate veteran, a member of Co. D, 16th 
   VA Infantry.
