Councill after a brief illness. Mr. Councill was a native of Isle of Wight county, he was the son of George T. and Mrs. Jenie Snipes Councill. He was a member of the Holland Baptist Church. Surviving besides his brother are one sister Mrs. C.G. Coffman of Holland and two brothers Harvey L. Councill of Holland and W.A. Councill of Franklin. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Carl Lee Ousley pastor of the Holland Baptist Church. Burial was in Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Nurney Holland, Sumner Rawles, Robert Duke, Jobie Holland, C.T. Daughtrey, Swain Pearsall, Marvin Reid, Jr., and Lewis Smith.
