VIRGINIA CASSANDRA FOWLER COUNCILL

   Mrs. Virginia Cassandra Councill, age 79, died early this morning at the 
home of her niece, Mrs. Henry Duck, on Clay Street.  Besides Mrs. Duck, she 
is survived by three other nieces, Mrs. Clyde Eley of Franklin, Mrs. J.S. 
Allen of Doswell, and Mrs. Paul Commings of Washington; three nephews, Jack 
Fowler of Kansas City, Joseph Fowler of Doswell and Broaddus Fowler of 
Charlottesville.

   Mrs. Councill was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram Fowler of 
Isle of Wight County and widow of Frank Councill.  She was a member of Beaver 
Dam Baptist Church.

   Services will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o’clock by the Rev. R.D. 
Stephenson at the grave in Beaver Dam Cemetery.  The funeral procession will 
leave from the W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Elmer 
Daughtrey, Tommie Daughtrey, M.B. Councill, Clyde Eley, James Bracey and G.C. 
Duck.
