DANA MAE CARR

   WALTERS - A funeral service for Mrs. Dana Mae Carr, 85, was held Friday at 
2 p.m. in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery by the Revs. M.F. Sollinger and E.M. 
Allcock.  Burial was in the church cemetery. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, 
had charge.

   Mrs. Carr, died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.  A 
native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Willie Wellons Carr.  She 
was a member of Mt. Carmel Congregational Christian Church.

   Survivors include two daughters, Miss Ola Mae Carr and Mrs. Vergie J. Duke 
of Walters; a sister, Mrs. Viola C. Haill of Carrsville; two brothers, Willie 
Carr and Norman F. Carr Sr. of Zuni; two grandchildren; and great-grandchild.
