Mr. Carr was 69 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Millie* Winborne Carr; four daughters, Mrs. Aubrey Bradshaw, Misses Katherine, Doris, Millie Blanche Carr, all of Zuni, and five sons, J. Winborne, Virginius, J.T., Jr., Eugene and Pressley, all of Zuni. Funeral services will be held this (Friday) afternoon at 2 o’clock at Antioch Church, conducted by the Rev. C.E. Gerringher. (FamilySearch.org "Virginia Marriages") Lillie's D.Cert. 16018 (Windsor #9) gives her mother wrong - "Antoinette Harris." John Richard Sr. {Feb 1851 - 21 Dec 1928} & Angie Etta (HARRISON) WINBORNE {2 Jun 1868 - 23 Jan 1925} are buried in Great Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Whaleyville, apparently unmarked. His father was a Confederate veteran, having served as a private in Co. D, 16th VA Inf., CSA. Wounded at the Crater 30 Jul 1864, he was paroled 30 Apr 1865 in Isle of Wight Co.
