Mrs. Carr Dies In Carrsville 

  Franklin, July 11. - Mrs. Lillie I. Carr, 67, widow of John T. Carr, died 
Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.L. Johnson, of Carrsville, 
after an illness of a few months. 

  Mrs. Carr was the daughter of the late John R. and Antionette Harris 
Winborne, of Isle of Wight County.  She was a member of Antioch Christian 
Church. 

  Surviving besides Mrs. Johnson are three daughters, Mrs. A.E. Bradshaw 
of Norfolk, Mrs. A.C. Darden, of Carrsville, and Mrs. Lillie Bradshaw of 
Carrsville; five sons, J.W. Carr, of Baltimore, J.T. Carr of Newport News, 
M.V., Pressley and Eugene Carr, all of Carrsville; seven grandchildren and 
four great-grandchilden. 

  The body was taken to the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland and Sons of 
Franklin and on Wednesday will be taken to Antioch Christian Church one 
hour prior to services. 

  Funeral sevtces will he conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. R.E. 
Brittle and the Rev. Jack Boyles.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

LILLIE IDONIA WINBORNE CARR 

   Mrs. Lillie I. Carr, 67, widow of John T. Carr, died Monday morning at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. R.L. Johnson of Carrsville, after an illness of a 
few months.  Mrs. Carr was the daughter of the late John R. and Antoinette 
Harris Winborne of Isle of Wight County.  She was a member of Antioch 
Christian Church. 

   Surviving besides Mrs. Johnson are three other daughters, Mrs. A.E. 
Bradshaw of Norfolk; Mrs. A.C. Darden of Carrsville, and Mrs. Lillie Bradshaw, 
also of Carrsville; five sons, J.W. Carr of Baltimore, J.T. Carr of Newport 
News, and M.V. Pressley and Eugene Carr, all of Carrsville; and seven 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

   Funeral services for Mrs. Carr were conducted at Antioch Christian Church 
on Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock by Rev. R.E. Brittle and Rev. Jack 
Boyles.  Interment was in the church cemetery. 

   Pallbearers were W.T. Joyner, Reuben L. Miles, Clyde Hall, Jesse Thorne, 
Sr., D.W. Stephenson, Goldie Darden, Clem Harrell and R.T. Bowden.  Honorary 
pallbearers were members of the  Maccabees.

   wrong - "Antoinette Harris."  John Richard Sr. {Feb 1851 - 21 Dec 1928} 
   & Angie Etta (HARRISON) WINBORNE {2 Jun 1868 - 23 Jan 1925} are buried 
   in Great Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Whaleyville, apparently unmarked.
