Mrs. M. F. Carr, 72, Will Be Buried Today At 2 P.M. 

  Mrs. Martha Ester Fowler Carr, 72, of Rt. 1, Windsor, died Monday at 11:30 
P.M. at her home. 

  She was a daughter of the late Frank and Mrs. Flora Britt Fowler of 
Southampton County, and widow of Philip Jack Carr.  She was a member of the 
Oakland Christian Church, Chuckatuck. 

  Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Amos Snook of Suffolk; Mrs. Sidney 
Stephenson of Windsor, and Mrs. Sherman Luke of Nansemond County; four sons, 
Leonard and Jasper Carr of Suffolk; Lonnie and Raleigh Lee Carr of Carrsville; 
26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. 

  Funeral services will be conducted at the Hill Funeral Home Thursday at 2 
P.M. by Dr. George D. Alley, pastor of Suffolk Christian Church.  Burial will 
be in Mt. Carmel Christian Church Cemetery.
