All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MARGARET SUE BRADSHAW SNIPES CARR Mrs. Margaret Bradshaw Carr, a native of Isle of Wight County and a resident of the Franklin community for the past 40 years, died Monday night, March 4, in Raiford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Samuel P. Carr of Franklin, and daughter of the late Amos F. and Cherry Daughtrey Bradshaw of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C.E. Bunn of Franklin and Mrs. C. Ernest Taylor of Portsmouth, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the W.J.M. Holland and Sons funeral Home by Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor of the Franklin Baptist Church. Burial was in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Corbitt Turner, Charles Winstead, Charles Ed Carr, Harry Ellis, Spencer Smith and Earl McGowan.
