PRESSLEY CARR

   Zuni - Pressley Carr, 73, a farmer and a native of Isle of Wight County, 
died Thursday in his home at Route 1.

   Mr. Carr was a chicken farmer for Perdue Co. and was active in custom 
grain shelling.  He was a member of Antioch Christian Church and the Colosse 
Baptist Church Sunday School.

   Survivors include his wife, Odelle Stephens Carr; three sisters, Catherine 
C. Darden, Doris C. Johnson and Lillie C. Darden, all of Carrsville; and a 
brother, Eugene Carr of Windsor.

   The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wright Funeral Home, 
Franklin, by the Revs. Mitchell Luckie, T.A. Powell and Stephen Weed.  Burial 
will be Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.
