He was a son of the late James and Nancy Johnson* Carr and a member of Zuni Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Estelle Carr [sic; "Lil" Lizzie Bell Carr*]; two sons, Clevon and Willie James Carr, two daughters, Mrs. Waverly Owney and Miss Martha Elizabeth Carr, all of Zuni; four brothers, Eustis, Joshua, Robert and Jack Carr, all of Suffolk, and two sisters, Mrs. Susie Ann Gardner, of Sebrell and Mrs. Nannie Johnson, of Carrsville.
